Mi Mayben Full-Service Solutions

Home companionship care

Mi Mayben's home companionship service offers complete support at home for older people, people with disabilities and families who need childcare. Our aim is that everyone can stay in familiar surroundings safely, with company and care shaped around their real needs.

We have professional carers, companions and nannies who can help with day-to-day tasks, accompany people to medical appointments, assist with mobility, keep to routines, and play with and stimulate young children, always with warmth and respect. It is a flexible service, available by the hour, by the day or on an ongoing basis, for both dependent adults and children.

Our approach is based on:

  • Companionship care for older people and people with disabilities, at home.
  • In-home childcare and nanny service, with age-appropriate activities.
  • Staff experienced in care, support and everyday assistance.
  • Accompaniment to medical appointments, rehabilitation or errands.
  • Flexible arrangements: by the hour, weekends, nights or ongoing.
  • Open communication with the family, with updates on how things are going.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions always come up, and we want to make things easy for you

Here are the answers to the questions we get asked most, so you can find what you need quickly. And if you still have doubts, our team will be glad to help.

Who is the home companionship service for?
It is for older people, people with disabilities and families who need a nanny or childcare at home. We adapt the type of support to each situation and set of needs.
How is this different from nursing care?
Home companionship care is not medical care: it is support, supervision, company and help with everyday activities. Where specific medical attention is needed, healthcare staff must be involved.
Does it include childcare?
Yes. We offer nannies at home: professionals who look after the children, keep their routines, help with small pieces of schoolwork and organise age-appropriate activities.
Does your staff have specific training?
Yes. Our carers and nannies are experienced and trained in supporting dependent people, in working with children, and in basic first aid.
Can I book just a few hours a day or a week?
Of course. The service is fully flexible: by the hour, on set days, overnight, at weekends or as continuous care, depending on what the family needs.
Do you offer accompaniment outside the home (doctor, errands, walks)?
Yes. We can accompany the person to medical appointments, rehabilitation, errands, walks or activities, always within the hours booked and on the terms agreed.
How does the service get started?
First we meet the family or the person responsible, look at the situation and propose a care plan. We then assign the most suitable professional and agree hours and tasks.
Can I change carer or nanny if they aren't the right fit?
Yes. If for any reason it is not a good fit, we can reorganise the service and assign a different professional, always looking for the best match and the most trust.
